According to a study carried out by the international strategy consulting firm Boston Consulting Group, France is one of the most attractive countries for professional expatriates.

Overall, 57% of those surveyed would be willing to move abroad as part of their work. The United States remains the world’s most popular destination, ahead of Germany and Canada. France is in seventh place and is a popular choice for Chinese and Italian workers, who consider France one of their favorite destinations in the world, ranking it third and fourth respectively. Meanwhile, for the Americans, Germans, Canadians and British, France is ranked fifth.

The study was carried out using a sample of more than 366,000 employees or jobseekers in 197 countries, from January to April 2018.
