The first GovTech Summit will take place on November 12 in Paris. It will bring together startups, public decision-makers, entrepreneurs and researchers to explore how new technologies can improve public services and democratic practices.

Supported by French President Emmanuel Macron, Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo and the European Commission, the GovTech Summit will welcome speakers from all over Europe, including political leaders, European ministers, mayors of big cities, innovators, public officials, businesses and academics.

More than 90 international speakers will be in attendance, covering topics ranging from transport, healthcare and security to international development, e-government and citizen engagement. Participants will be able to listen to roundtables and meet industry key players during networking sessions.

  • For startups, the summit is the perfect opportunity to present their solutions to investors and public buyers, through networking sessions and events such as the “GovTech Pitch”, the largest pitching session GovTech has ever organized.
  • For companies and investors, the summit will introduce them to what is a booming sector, with the opportunity to meet the founders of the best GovTech startups in Europe, as well as public buyers looking for new ideas.
