From June 14 to 17, 2023, France celebrated the seventh edition of VivaTechnologies. With 150,000 participants, 2,800 exhibitors, 174 countries, 11,400 startups and more than 450 speakers, the French show received more visitors than the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, which was held from January 5 to 8, 2023 (115,000 visitors).
The show highlighted several themes: six conferences on green tech, seven on cybersecurity, 16 on climate tech, 21 on artificial intelligence, 12 on deep tech, as well as 49 discussion sessions on sport.
In addition to addressing a wide range of technological themes, the show gave a central place to inclusion and diversity in business. For the third consecutive year, VivaTech was produced in partnership with the Women & Girls in Tech collective. For four days, policies in favor of diversity were therefore put forward (workshops, mentoring with the Sistech program, etc.).
In addition, several innovations were presented, including the 100% electric car, with removable and portable batteries, produced by the French startup Tiny; depolluting plants or plants that produce electricity; zero-emission drones; and surveillance robots for solar parks, like Fred Robot.
Considering all these elements, the French show strengthened its positioning as an unmissable technology event.
