France is becoming increasingly popular, after having moved up five places to 11th worldwide in HSBC’s annual rankings on the best countries in which to work.
In last year’s rankings, France finished 23rd overall, but this year it was the third favorite destination for foreign expats in the European Union, after Germany and Sweden.
Among France's strengths are the importance attached to family life and the general quality of life. In terms of the overall experience encompassing both the quality of life offered by the host country, and how easy it is to integrate into society and settle into a new life, France is ranked the ninth most popular destination.
