The Global Entrepreneurship and Development Institute (GEDI) published the 2018 Global Entrepreneurship Index on November 29. The report assesses and ranks 137 countries on their ability to offer a healthy entrepreneurship ecosystem, examining the attitudes, abilities and aspirations of their entrepreneurs.

After finishing 13th in the 2017 index, France has now been ranked 10th in the 2018 standings, which highlight France’s outstanding entrepreneurial ecosystem and capacity for innovation, achieving a particularly high rank (6th) under the “entrepreneurial aspirations” sub-index.

France’s scores confirm once again the high growth and international expansion potential harbored by French startups.
