France, which was Europe’s most attractive economy in 2019, is using the current health crisis to consolidate its key strengths.

 

Contrary to the preconceived ideas that still sometimes tarnish the country’s image abroad, France, which is home to more than 67 million consumers, has foreign investors in its sights.

 

France is ranked second in Europe for enterprise creation, with more than 815,000 new businesses founded in 2019. What’s more, it is the leading destination in Europe for R&D investments and boasts the most attractive R&D tax credit in Europe, with France ranked the first OECD country for government R&D funding.

 

France’s rich history, excellent healthcare system and diverse talent all help to make it a great place to live.
