20th edition of the Amcham-Bain survey published - The morale of American investors
The 20th edition of the Amcham-Bain survey, produced by the American Chamber of Commerce in France and the consulting firm Bain & Company, measures the morale of American investors in France and their perception of the economic environment.
The 2020 survey reflects a renewed confidence of American companies regarding France’s economic outlook and the country’s attractiveness: 41% of the investors surveyed believe that the changes to France’s economic outlook will be positive over the next two to three years (+ 11 points compared with 2018).
This optimism is particularly visible in terms of job creation, since 51% of American companies in France expect to see a rise in the number of their employees in France. Finally, more than 85% of American investors consider the impact of France’s reforms on the country’s attractiveness to be positive.
