Banque Palatine has organized the French Entrepreneur Awards (Trophées Ambitions d’Entrepreneurs) in partnership with the LCI news channel since 2011. Business France was involved in this year’s sixth awards ceremony, held last night at rooftop venue Dernier Étage in Paris’ 18th arrondissement.
The French Entrepreneurs Awards recognize mid-size companies demonstrating high growth potential and the ability to innovate, export or commit to a green business strategy and corporate social responsibility. Prizes were awarded in four categories, including International (handed over by Frédéric Rossi, Chief Operating Officer (Export Division) at Business France; Innovation; Green Business; Judges’ Favorite; and a special METI-Banque Palatine Award.
The event also shone a spotlight on business leaders playing a leading role in driving France’s economic development, employment strategy and influence, both on a regional and international scale.
Around 250 leaders of SMEs and mid-size companies attended the celebration, with many awarded prizes for their achievements. Attendees were treated to a special meal prepared exclusively for them by multi-Michelin-starred chef Thierry Marx, who was one of the first iconic faces to be featured in Business France’s international “Creative France” advertising campaign, alongside holding an advisory role on the campaign strategy committee.
