The Hannover Messe is the world’s largest trade show for industrial technology. With over 6,500 exhibitors, 200,000 visitors and more than 70 countries represented, the Hannover Messe has been the world's leading industrial technology event since 1947.

From April 1-5, 2019, Business France will organize a French Pavilion for the second consecutive year in the colors of ‘La French Fab’, which groups together more than 40 French companies.

Industry 4.0 and the challenges surrounding the digitization of the industrial chain are set to dominate this year’s event.

For the last four years, there have been several halls at the Hannover Messe dedicated to the Industry of the Future. In 2017, some 74,200 visitors attended the Hannover Messe to visit the halls dedicated to Industry of the Future, 65% of whom came from Germany, 11% from Asia and 4% from the Americas. France was the sixth foreign delegation with 2,500 visitors.

For this year’s event, Business France has chosen to focus on six successful German companies who set up in France years ago. These include DHL, Volkswagen, Boehringer Ingelheim, Bosch, Enercon, and Merck, whose CEOs have spoken about their many years in the French economy.
